I focus on consumer investments where I can add value via my experience building Epic Gardening. I treat angel investing / being an LP as “backing things I want to exist in the world” and it represents <1% of my total investment allocation.

I got into real estate because I wanted to own the warehouse that I was fulfilling products for my customers from. That ended up working out quite well, but due to an acquisition, we moved fulfillment to another state, so I sold the warehouse and used a 1031 exchange to purchase a 20-unit multifamily property, which I currently own.
