Just in the past two weeks I’ve finally grasped this concept and the impact has been huge. When you let go of your fear of failure, you can really start having fun. I’ve begun to try a bunch of things that have a decent probability of not working out, but just trying them has been fun – and some of them are even working out. Bonus!

Some of the things I’m trying:

Sending random heroes of mine free caricatures just to say thanks for putting great content on the internet.
Starting a scholarship.
Hosting networking events.
Raising my prices past my comfort zone.
Inviting semi-famous people out to coffee.

It’s pretty awesome to have this change in mindset – I’m making progress way faster and having a lot more fun.
