Act As a Filter

In any domain, there are people who want to know the core information that lets them take action on a topic.  To provide maximum value, become a filter in a domain that you care about.

You’re the one who pores through whitepapers, research documents and books to distill information down for those who want access, but don’t want to devote massive amounts of time for it.

Great examples of this are Ramit Sethi for behavioral psychology as it relates to personal finance, earning more and advancing your career.

Tim Ferriss does it for productivity and lifehacks – more through the realm of testing on himself than massive distillation of information.

Think of anyone you go to for information on a specific topic.  What do they do?  They filter out the noise and give you what you need to know.
